The All Terrain Laptop Trolleys come in two sizes. The iTrolley 20 ATUM is an All Terrain laptop trolley that fits up to 20 ultra-mobile laptops with a maximum thickness of 55mm. It is important to check the thickness of the laptops being used prior to ordering, especially if you are using additional battery packs. It has easy access front and rear doors secured with locks that open with one key for both doors. It also comes with an integral ‘lock-down’ bracket, standard on all models. It can accommodate any combination of laptops from 7″ to 11″ without any shelf adjustments, and is coated with a high quality powder finish in charcoal.

The trolley comes with large rear wheels suitable for all terrain, as well as easy-glide castors at the front. Also available, at extra cost, are optional high-strength combination locking cables and floor anchor for additional security.

Laptop Trolleys

The iTrolley 16 ATUM fits up to 16 ultra-mobile laptop computers. Ultra-mobile laptops are computers with a maximum thickness of 71mm. The trolley has the large rear wheels to make it easy to navigate tough terrain- all flooring types, stairs and so on. It has easy-glide castors at the front, one with a brake, and single cord connection to mains power supply.

With doors on the front and back it is easy and safe to open and close. The chargers are stored behind the rear door, with can be set up in one go for convenient charging as you use it.

Laptop Storage

Prevention is always better than repairing damage, so it is important to take of your laptop. This includes proper storage, among other things. Not only will appropriate storage prolong the life of your laptop, it will also keep it more secure. When travelling around with an individual laptop, a laptop bag or case is useful to avoid scratching it or dropping it.

Computer and laptop trolleys are useful for storing and transporting several laptops at once. Types of Laptops

Laptops are portable computers with many benefits over desktop computers, including its portability of course, easy storage and the fact that it is battery-powered so it will not be affected during a power outage for at least a couple of hours.

Laptops can be classified according to their weight, from the desktop replacement (more than 5kg), to the mainstream (3-5kg), thin-and-light (2-4 kg), ultraportable (less than 2kg), and the netbook (less than 1 kg). The netbooks are designed to be incredibly light and portable, and to be used mostly for internet access. As a result, they are not a high-performing device and the keyboard and screen can be cramped.

Ultraportables are often used by frequent flyers, with screen dimensions of 10 – 12 inches and much better performance. However they do not typically come with features such as large hard drives or extra ports. Thin-and-light laptops have larger screens (13-15 inches) and keyboards, and a good compromise between size and performance for both students and business people. The performance generally depends on the price you are willing to pay. Over time the distinctions between these three will probably become blurred as technology progresses to become thinner and faster.

Mainstream laptops aren’t particularly thin or light, offer more features and better comfort with 15-17 inch screens and larger keyboards. Finally a desktop replacement will give you the same power as desktop computers but are not really designed to be used on the go everyday, especially with a battery life of less than 3 hours. However it can be useful for occasional trips or for those who move every couple of months.
